RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Trade Marketing Manager, you will work side by side with the sales teams to craft the marketing strategy for Yahoo! in the Hispanic Americas - part of the Latin America region - to communicate and relate to the trade advertising ecosystem – advertisers, agencies and associations.
You will manage and develop actions in acquisition, retention, and relationship programs, reporting directly to the Head of B2B Latin America and work closely with the Country Managers of Mexico and Argentina and the Regional General Manager based in Miami. You will also work closely with partner organizations in Marketing including B2C, Public Relations, Corporate Communications and Insights.
- Develop and execute trade marketing programs to increase advertiser/agency brand awareness, engagement, acquisition, and retention for Yahoo! ad products and services in the region
- Oversee strategy and execution of campaigns working to drive impactful programs consistent with brand promise such as events, relationship, direct marketing among others
- Define target audiences and develop corresponding communication strategies
- Develop annual marketing plans that reflect market context
- Collaborate with corporate marketing teams to ensure programs are developed and executed consistent with global strategies and standards
- Manage a team of agencies and partners to develop business marketing programs including social media and word of mouth, email, events and promotions to amplify the Yahoo! message
- Lead business co-marketing initiatives and programs to leverage reach and strength of reputation
- Share results and recommendations with team and senior leadership
- Maintain close control of related marketing budgets
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Experience and proven success in creating and executing an overarching Marketing strategy for a company or region with multiple cultures
- A substantial record of hands-on tactical experience in the use of digital media for marketing.
- Outstanding written/communication skills
Preferred Job Qualifications
- 7+ years relevant experience on the client or agency side, engaged in marketing programs across the range of channels and objectives including but not limited to; Brand, Corporate Communications, B2B Marketing and Insights
- Experience in developing online, media, or a technology brand for businesses is strongly preferred
- Strategic insight into Yahoo!’s competitive challenges and opportunities, within the Latin America region and worldwide
- Fluent in writing and speaking English
- B.A. /B.S., MBA preferred
